Unique Student Identifier
For all students enrolled or enrolling in recognized courses, MIA-Management Institute Australia shall apply the national requirements for the Unique Student Identifier (USI). To the fullest extent permitted by law, MIA-Management Institute Australia will comply with the USI legislation and regulations (2014) and any updates that may be made. This pledge includes adhering to all privacy regulations.
Students in Australia are provided with a unique alphanumeric reference number called a Unique Student Identifier (USI) that allows them to view detailed records of their Vocational Education and Training (VET) course studies. A seamless connection between each individual USI account and the National Vocational Education and Training (VET) Data Collection will be established. People can examine all of their training results from different providers, including completed training units and qualifications, thanks to this connectivity. This simplified procedure helps students find and gather their VET accomplishments into a single, verified transcript, avoiding the loss of their VET data.
Every student will receive a lifelong USI, which is accessible online and costs nothing. It will be linked to any nationally accredited VET course finished after the USI's founding on January 1, 2015.
The MIA-Management Institute Australia's USI initiative aims to:
- Seamlessly link information about a student’s VET achievements, regardless of where they studied.
- Enable students to easily access secure digital transcripts of their achievements.
- Give students access to, and more control over, their educational information.
