Agent Policy

Agent Policy

PURPOSE:

This policy has been devised to delineate the procedure for selecting Education Agents in compliance with the requirements of the National Code and ESOS Act.

SCOPE:

MIA-Management Institute Australia takes all reasonable steps to ensure that the Education Agents it engages are ethical, professional, and possess a comprehensive understanding of:

  • The National Code,
  • The ESOS Act
  • MIA-Management Institute Australia’s services.

MIA-Management Institute Australia will refrain from recruiting or maintaining a relationship with any Education Agent who demonstrates unethical behavior, dishonesty, or non-compliance with the principles of the agreement.

PROCEDURE:

SELECTION

MIA-Management Institute Australia will choose Education Agents based on their overall experience and comprehension of the National Code and ESOS Act:

  • Education Aents applying to MIA-Management Institute Australia must submit a minimum of 2 Referral Reports. If the Education Agent cannot provide this, then MIA-Management Institute Australia will assess the application professionally.
AGREEMENT
  • MIA-Management Institute Australia engages Education Agents through written agreements specifying the Roles and Responsibilities of both parties, including processes for monitoring the agent's activities and termination conditions.
  • MIA-Management Institute Australia ensures that Education Agents agree to cooperate with the VET Regulator and monitors their activities through various processes such as face-to-face meetings, student feedback, KPIs, and surveys.
  • MIA-Management Institute Australia will not accept students from or engage in agreements with Education Agents known or reasonably suspected to be engaging in dishonest practices or providing unauthorized immigration advice.
  • MIA-Management Institute Australia will promptly terminate agreements with Education Agents found to be negligent, incompetent, or engaged in false advertising or recruitment practices.
MARKETING MATERIALS

MIA-Management Institute Australia's marketing materials are developed and reviewed using the Marketing Material Checklist to maintain quality standards.

All marketing materials are logged in the Marketing Materials Register to track and review effective marketing strategies. New and revised materials are distributed to Education Agents to ensure accuracy and transparency about MIA-Management Institute Australia’s courses and services.
